  1. Review the Application Requirements
    •  and review the application instructions and common questions.
    • For general and technical assistance on how to submit your application, please contact your Admissions Counselor, Nathan Lightman, for guidance.
  2. Submit an Application & Fee
    • Application opens November 10, 2025.
    • Early application is strongly encouraged.
    • Submit your application by the deadline of June 15, 2026.
    • Submit a $75, non-refundable application fee.
  3. Submit Official Transcripts
    • Final, official transcripts from all post-secondary schools attended, even if a degree was not awarded or expected.
    • They must be sent directly from the institution to grad.admissions@rosalindfranklin.edu.
    • If an electronic option is not available, unopened official transcripts can be sent via mail to:

    • If you have studied outside the U.S., you will need to have your transcripts evaluated for U.S. equivalency using a service like or .
  4. Submit Letters of Recommendation
    • One letter of recommendation is required, two are preferred, from professionals and/or academicians who know you well (i.e. academic advisors, professors, or supervisors at a workplace).
  5. Submit Test Scores
    • For applicants pursuing the research concentration the GRE General Test is not required and the Advanced Psychology GRE is not required
    • For applicants pursuing the clinical concentration the GRE General Test is not required.
    • Any applicant who does not hold US citizenship or permanent residency is required to submit official TOEFL scores for proof of English proficiency. The admissions committee will consider waiving this requirement if:
      • An applicant who has been a full-time student in a United States college or university for at least two consecutive years.
      • An applicant is from a country in which English is the primary language.
    • Report official GRE and/or TOEFL scores to Institution Code: 1117.
  6. Background Check
